Kindergarten Registration for September 2023

A child may be registered to attend Kindergarten in September if his or her fifth birthday occurs on or before December 31st of the current year.

If you are unable to register on those days, we will be accepting in person registrations after February 16th, however, please call the school to confirm a time to come in.  We will also accept applications by email.

Please scan and email the completed Student Registration Form, Parent Declaration Form, along with copies of your required documents, to mccloskey.elem@deltaschools.ca.

Incomplete information and documents will delay the registration process. Please ensure that all documents included with your child’s registration are legible.

Registration for Grades 1 to 7 for Catchment Students

McCloskey is pleased to accept applications from families and students residing within our catchment area for the 2023/2024 school year beginning February 6, 2023.  For verification of your catchment area school, please contact the School Board Office at 604-952-5345 or 604-952-5346 or check the School Locator.

Please call the school to make an in person appointment to register your child.  Alternatively, please email the completed Student Registration Form, Parent Declaration Form, along with copies of your required documents to mccloskey.elem@deltaschools.ca.  If further documentation is required, an appointment may need to be scheduled.

Registration Documents Required for All Students (all documents must be received for registration to be accepted):

• Student Registration Form (*note: This form is fillable.  Please print and sign this form if you do not have a digital signature);
• Parent Declaration Form (*note: This form is fillable.  Please print and sign this form if you do not have a digital signature);
• Proof of Citizenship or status in Canada for both students and parents, and appropriate proof of age for students:
  –  Canadian Birth Certificate, Canadian Passport or Permanent Resident Documentation;
• Proof of Residency:
  –  Purchase/Rental/Lease/Tenancy Agreement, Current Year Property Tax Assessment, Verification of Address by Landlord Form, or Current Month Rental Receipt showing address, or Letter from Landlord, along with a copy of one of the following showing rental address:  Valid Driver’s License, Utility Bill, Vehicle Ownership Papers or Insurance Certificate;
• BC Services Card (please include both sides of this card); and
• Most recent report card from previous school, if available.
